- Hello, my name is Dave Sturm. I have been the Booster Club Historian for three to four years now. The main reason I took this position, is because I love to take pictures and I enjoy the game of hockey, win, lose or draw. You would have to love it with the current situation the Amerks are in. I've been a season ticket holder for approximately twenty years. I currently sit in Section 105, Row A, Seat 10.
- I was born in Rochester, NY in the late forties, which qualifies me as a senior citizen. I was raised by my mom, Marie along with my two other brothers Tim (Danny) and Dale. We were always east siders. I went to Ben Franklin and R.L. Thomas, I joined the army in the 60's, as an artillery surveyor, and an aviation gyro and altimeter repairman for the huey helicopters. I returned home in 1968, and started attending Rochester American hockey games, and was instantly hooked. I have been married to my wife Mary, for almost thirty years. We have a son Jason, 27 and a daughter Kelly 21. We live in East Irondequoit, love to travel, play euchre, and especially take photos. I was a welder for many years, although I currently work for Canfield & Tack printers for the past 14 years.
- You can enjoy my photos within the Photos - Archives page You can reach me at handpass8@aol.com .
- If you ever need a photo, family or friends at the game with you, a once in a lifetime KODAK momemt, come and get me, always available.
